How to use

Paediatric electrode pads enable you to be fully prepared in the event of a child suffering cardiac arrest, they are an essential tool due to their ability to reduce the joule output provided by the AED to a level which is safe and suitable for the heart of a 1-8 year old.

Once removed from the packaging, there are clear images which help the first responder to place the pads correctly on the patient, with the primary lay out slightly different to that of the positioning on an adult patient.

They will then help to monitor and evaluate the condition of the heart and the defibrillator will use the information to determine whether treatment is required.
